Born into a family of craftsmen, For Mr. Vankar Naran Samat, the art of weaving has been second nature to him. He picked up the mantle of his father at the young age of 13 and he hasn't looked back since then. For him, his art is a way of getting closer to his family and ancestors, with the artform being a family practice and all members of his family involved in the same. The delicate weaves of his craft find strength in the love of familial ties.
